Andy MacBeth, the Chaplain for St. George’s, is an Episcopal priest from the United States. He has been ordained for forty-five years and served churches in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan, and Colorado. Christian formation for adults and children and the development of lay leadership were his passions in parish ministry.  A 1988 sabbatical at St. George’s, his first trip to the Holy Land, included an amazing trip to the Sinai.

In retirement, he has served as a hospital chaplain and supply priest. What he loves to do on Sunday mornings at this point is to play his string bass and sing with other musicians in church.

Andy earned a D.Min. from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia and M.Div. from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is married to Sybil MacBeth.  Andy and Sybil have two sons and two grandchildren.
