Study
For individuals and groups wanting to go beyond a pilgrimage program, St George’s College offers a range of more challenging study programs as well as facilities for research.

The Edmond & Patricia Browning Library is located on the main floor of the college.

The library is named in honour of the 24th Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, Edmond Lee Browning, and his wife, Patricia Browning. Bishop Browning died on July 11, 2016 at his home in Dee, Oregon. He and Patricia were great friends of the College and generous supporters of the Library.

We offer a large collection of theology, history and local books for the enjoyment of reading while you are staying at the college.  The special strengths of our collection are Anglican Studies (especially in the Middle East), Biblical Studies, Palestinian History, and Theology.

A sunny reading room frames the exterior of the library where you can also enjoy the vista of the college gardens. The librarian is available to locate books you are requesting as well as managing the college gift shop.

You can now search our collection via the web with our Online Public Access Catalog.

Clergy stoles made in the area can be purchased along with cards, sweatshirts, tiles, prints, recommended books and other souvenirs.
