Description
Spend Eastertide in the Holy Land at St George’s College! From the perspective of the empty tomb, our Eastertide study pilgrimage looks in two directions: (1) retracing the narratives and landscapes of Jesus’ earthly life through the lens of the resurrection and (2) celebrating Eastertide stories, including Jesus’ resurrection appearances, his ascension into heaven, and the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The course includes a one-night, two-day trip to the Galilee. As with all College courses, it will engage contemporary issues of Israel-Palestine.
